Frequently asked questions
What should I/we wear?
Please wear something that makes you feel the most confident and comfortable in!
Neutrals are always a good shout! And it may sound obvious, but try to avoid wearing something that is going to make you feel self-conscious because this will effect how you feel during the shoot and ultimately effect the final photo’s. Wether you feel like a boss in your skinny jeans and boots or a goddamn ball gown, I am here for it! As long as YOU feel fantastic thats what matters!
Family Outdoor Session bookers;
Please please please don’t put the kids in their best clothes or designer footwear-(unless you are ok with getting them dirty!) I am always after authentic laughter, fun and play and don’t be surprised if I instigate a game of muddy-tag or encourage the kids to jump in puddles. I find when dealing with my own the best photos I ever get are when the kids and parents are free to have fun and not worry about clothes getting ruined. I am here for those magical real moments.

Can I pay more for something not offered in your packages?
Absolutely! If you require more photos than stated in my packages or simply want to add more time/outfit changes/ locations please feel free to contact me with your requirements i’d be happy to taylor a package to you.
I love to indulge in some themed shoots too so if you have something special in mind i’m definitely interested!
How will I Receive the Photos?
I deliver the photos as fully edited JPEG files via your very own online gallery. The gallery will be password protected which I will disclose with you via e-mail. Once you have received your gallery invite you may send them to print, download, share online and forward them to family & friends.
In order to free up space and keep galleries working at an optimum capacity I must clear them off every 4 weeks so make sure you download the files ASAP!
Do I get to select my images?
Part of my job is to provide the absolute best quality and most flattering photos, I have designed my packages in mind that ALL the best photos will be forwarded to you! I have no reason to withhold any images I think you will enjoy-I’ll automatically add them into the gallery as part of the package price.
How long do the sessions take?
I am very generous with my time and typically reserve a minimum of 2 hours per session-this is to ensure you are comfortable in front of the camera (particularly if we are shooting with young children we may need to have a break/snack/change etc) but don’t worry if we end up finishing half an hour early if we managed to boss it through the session with no pitstops!
When will I receive my photos?
My shoot-to-gallery turn around time is currently up to 14 days, this is to ensure I have adequate time to thoroughly go through and select and edit all of the best photos.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
I require a £50 deposit at the time of booking to confirm and schedule your session. I do not book into my diary until the deposit is paid.
What if I need to cancel?
If the wether is going nuts or you (or your party) are sick I will be happy to put your deposit to reschedule your session. I absolutely understand that life happens and sometimes there are extenuating circumstances where we may have to reschedule, however if you do not turn up on the day or have decided against the shoot, the deposit will not be refunded.
how long do you store my images?
I typically store client photos for six months as I may need to make room for new clients I cannot guarantee I will store your photos after this time, so I urge you to download and backup photos to avoid disappointment.
