A few weeks ago somewhere amidst my mum-ing and food-ing I see a little red notification square pop up on my screen from a very long-standing dear friend of mine. Seriously folks I still have the same handful of friends that I grew up with in secondary school and college. This is Mikey, not only has he worked his way up, and pretty much runs the company he works for but now he's quite rightly set up his own business. A creative online fashion store offering an array of bespoke items, and I couldn't be prouder.

Eager to lend a hand I offered some photography services.

The shoot was a random collection of different friends and such who rallied together to get some creative realness out there, lead by his vision and determination to portray the style and wonderfulness of the brand.

My bestie ,Amy, funnily enough was seeking out some Urban, pop culture, post-apocalyptic type locations for her own hobby, since she has for a long time been in the Cosplay game. I remembered her showing me some snaps she took on her phone of an old abandoned factory and wasteland known well to my Derby neighbours, and well I guess it all fell into place from there.

And with such hobbies she has established some awesome friends, like Echo, who has wicked knowledge when it comes to posing and photoshoots! Absolute bonus.

It felt so good to be out there being creative together once again, supporting and encouraging and being given that back in return, and feeling like my whole self.
