I fell head over heels immediately. Old and charming and furnished with dark antique wood, antlers and animal skins create the decor. It has that very nostalgic feel about itself, you can imagine punters from the past raising a tankard of mead and singing characteristically out of tune. Almost every table was lit by candles each paired with small vases hosting little flowers, creating the romantic ambiance we so desired.

As soon as the date crept closer I began getting more and more excited, jabbering on to co-workers about the trip. Every time I mentioned Dublin I was greeted with a "awwwhhh I love Dublin" type response, which just increased the excitement.

I love chicken wings, love 'em. I eat them at least once a week [sometimes more if I make a large batch]. I know some people get put off because they don't like to eat meat from the bone, but that's never bothered me and if it doesn't bother you, this is currently my best recipe.

Crispy Summer Crab Cakes
